Event Timeline

Challenge Duration: 3 Weeks

During this period, teams will:

• Develop their idea
• Refine the problem statement
• Design a solution
• Optionally build a prototype
• Prepare their final presentation

Final Presentations

Teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges.

Presentation Time: 5–10 minutes
Submission Required: Presentation slides (PPT)
• Optional: prototype or project website

Winning teams will be recognized for their innovation, feasibility, and impact.

 

Rules

To ensure fairness and integrity, participants must follow these rules:

  1. Original Ideas Only
    All projects must be original work created during the ideathon.

  2. No Direct Use of Existing GitHub Projects
    Participants may not submit projects copied directly from existing repositories.

  3. AI Tools Are Allowed
    AI tools and generative coding tools may be used. However, teams must clearly explain their solution and demonstrate understanding of their implementation.

  4. Team Size
    Teams must consist of 1 to 3 participants.

  5. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration Encouraged
    Students from different departments may collaborate on the same team.

  6. Idea Improvement Allowed
    Teams may improve or extend existing ideas, but the final solution must demonstrate originality.

  7. Code of Conduct
    All participants must follow respectful and professional behavior during the event.

  8. Integrity Declaration
    Participants must confirm that their submission represents their own work.

 

Failure to follow these rules may result in disqualification.

 

Judging Criteria (100 Points)

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria.

Problem Definition – 15 Points

• Clarity of the problem
• Importance and relevance
• Understanding of the challenge

Innovation & Originality – 20 Points

• Creativity of the idea
• Uniqueness of the concept

Technological Usage & Feasibility – 20 Points

• Practicality of the solution
• Feasibility of implementation

Benefits / Value Analysis – 15 Points

• Impact of the solution
• Value creation
• Cost-based evaluation

Execution & Prototype – 15 Points

• Quality of implementation
• Prototype or Proof of Concept (if available)

Presentation – 15 Points

• Clarity of communication
• Confidence and explanation of the idea
